SAM learning is an on-line revision and exam practice service. It contains revision exercises and sample exam paper questions for most subjects. The revision exercises are self marking: see if you can improve your scores. The exam paper questions are accompanied by mark schemes so you can develop your understanding of what examiners are looking for while you work out how well you did.
Research shows that that as little as 10 hours use of SAM Learning in the run up to exams can have a significant impact upon your exam results. There are KS3, GCSE and some A level revision materials.

Please note, if you are accessing SAM Learning from home you will require a browser with a Java Plugin installed. Although the current help files at the SAM Learning website have not been updated and only refer to the Microsoft version of Java, the recommended version of Java to install (recommended by SAM Learning) is the Sun Microsystems version. This can be downloaded from www.java.com , there is a download link on the homepage.
As of writing the download link at the SAM learning web site (the help section) points to the downloads page at www.visualware.com, Visual Ware however is no longer offering the Microsoft Virtual machine for download, nor is Microsoft.
