A Level Results 2011
Stunning results in A Level Mathematics as 100% of y13 students gain A* or A grade!
Maintaining the very high overall pass rate of 98%, we are celebrating the outstanding success of 13 students of Mathematics, all of whom achieved an A* or an A grade this year. Notable successes include student Rosie Birch, who having joined St Philip Howard at the start of sixth form, has achieved her dream of going to Oxford University to study Theology, and Freddie Henshaw who is studying Medicine at the University of East Anglia.
With over 20% of entries being awarded grades at A* or A, 100% pass rate was achieved in the vast majority of subject areas, nearly three quarters of all results being at grade C or above. This has meant that very many of students have been successful in gaining places at prestigious universities across the country.
